The first ascent of the route “Annoula” (II 1+, 250m) was realized solo on 11/12/1993 by G. Panourgias.
This line is the shortest and easiest climbing route on the north face of Liakoura, as it involves only snow climbing, on a gradient of up to 55°. Experienced climbers can climb moving together, with minimal intermediate protection.
The approach from the Prophet Elias chapel at Gerontovrachos takes approximately 1.5hrs.
The descent follows the classic ascent route to the summit.
